GamHarm is a consultancy business offering a range of services based around providing informed understanding of all aspects of harms relating to gambling behaviours.
We are founded and run by individuals who have each experienced significant harms as a result of Disordered Gambling. While this may not sound like a particularly promising basis for a consultancy business it does guarantee that we hold a wealth of in-depth knowledge and very personal understanding spanning a multitude of gambling related harms.
We truly are experts by experience with pre-eminent knowledge across the full spectrum of gambling related harms and bring with us the unique ability to bring practicable understanding to our audiences and clients.
As much as we would like to stop all Gambling Related Harms from occurring and thus afflicting others with the pain and hurt that we ourselves, and those around us, have experienced we do reluctantly accept that gambling harms will continue to be a societal issue for the foreseeable future.
Our aim is to equip all our clients with the skills and knowledge necessary to ensure that they are in the best possible position to identify, understand, and support individuals experiencing harms from gambling. Whether within their own client base, as colleagues within their own organisations, or as family and loved ones.
Our aim is to help you to be able to help others, as every informed intervention represents one more step towards achieving a better, fairer, and healthier society.
We provide awareness raising workshops, training sessions, information booklets, and bespoke consultancy across a wide and expanding range of subjects relating to real behaviours, impacts, and available support options around gambling harms.
We also provide Gambling Harms informed evaluation of client services, helping identify areas within your own expert processes where impacts of gambling harms may manifest.
